this question is for all the prop expert's i seen an article about sanding the prop.at the bottom were the blades start just above the hub of the prop by taking off 1/2 inch or more worth 200 to 300 rpm's.i was just wondering if this really works? has anybody ever done this
FORCE 1998 120 INSTALLED NEW TRIM GAUGE AND SENDING.I HAVE TO PLAY WITH THE GROUND TO MAKE WORK RIGHT SEEMS MIGHT BE GROUNDED TO GOOD.IN OTHER WORD I HAVE TO LEAVE THE GROUND LOOSE TO MAKE GAUGE WORK.ANY SUGGSTIONS.
i installed a cnc jack plate on my 1998 17 ft triton bass boat with a 120 force motor ive tried a 23 pitch turbo ss prop.could not get 5000 rpm's with the motor raised on the jack plate as high would go.so i raised the motor 1 more hole on the jack plate.that really didnt gain any rpm's...
are stiletto ss 3 blade props a good choice of props.or are they no good whats everyones advice this goes on a 1998 120 force motor.i just found one at boaters world and there cheap.

ive asked this question but never got a answer what kind and pitch do you boaters run on 120 force motors mine is a 1998 triton 17.5 bass boat 120 force motor and yes the motor is a 1998. :) :) :) :) :)
