My brother brought me his boat from Dallas. "Check it over, I think it leaks a little water in the bilge when it runs." I started it up and it leaks so much water in the bilge that none comes out the exhaust. lol.

Hey, I've recently discovered that my exhaust tube is leaking water. I assume that the bolts worked themselves out and the exhaust tube is loose. Does this require an engine pull to repair?

My boat feels like it's intermittently losing power. I diagnosed the problem to be the shift interrupt switch. It's engaging/pushing the button when it's not supposed to.
Is this a common problem?
How do I fix it.

A couple of years ago I parked the '79 Chaparral in storage. I got it out today to get it started and out on the water. It won't start. It turns over, no spark though.

Hey, could someone give me some of the differences between a 1985 Mercruiser 140 engine and a 1995 Mercruiser 135. I might buy a 1995 boat cheap that has a cracked block and put in the 140 block with the newer components. Will it bolt right up?!

Would you use thread lock when you install the rocker arm nuts? The manual doesn't call for it, but I want those suckers to stay in place! :)
