So if you can't lift the outdrive manually, what happens if you're cruising along at 30 knots and you hit a submerged tree stump? Do you just end up leaving half your transom & outdrive behind? 🤔
I am trying to find the specs and procedure for setting the valve clearance on my Volvo Penta AQ130 I believe it is the "C" (Dual Carbs). The link that someone had posted here to a manual is very old, and appears the link is broken.

I have a AQ130/270 which I've got working pretty well. I am trying to find out if I should be able to lift the drive by hand while in neutral or forward? It locks down fine, and releases fine with the power lift, but I cannot lift it by hand. Does it take some greater impact force to overcome...
