I recently purchased a old 65 hp 1973 outboard, When i changed the lower gear oil it smelled of sulphur and had metal flakes and small metal parts in it about 1/4" by 1/4" , any idea what is broke or how much disassembly to find out?<br />I am considering purchasing a used lower unit for 250...
