    OMC Adhesive

    I am installing a new water pump on my '86 175 hp Johnson. The manual calls for OMC Adhesive M and OMC Gasket Sealing Compound. My parts supplier doesn't have either compound. I am hoping that someone could tell me what I could use in place of the OMC products. Thank you.

    Shift Rod Screw

    I am trying to remove the lower unit off my 1986 175 Hp Johnson. The manual says to remove the retaining screw. Having a hard time getting a screwdriver on the the screw. Is the head a 3/8 inch? Any tricks on getting this screw loose.
