    Regulating 9.9HP charging system.

    Hi folks, just bought an old (1985) 9.9HP Evinrude outboard to put on the Oday 22. It has as I understand it has a 6 amp charging system and is not regulated, again as I understand it. What I don't want to do is get in a situation where I am running wide open or thereabouts, (Is that a word?)...

    Evinrude 'Simplex' Remote Control

    Hi folks, was wondering if anyone out there has an Evenrude 'Simplex' Remote? Mine is on an Oday 22 built in 1975. It has steering and throttle control. If so I would like to quiz you on it. I want to make it work on a 9.9 Evinrude. Thanks in advance.

    Fuel/oil mixture says 100/1?

    Hi folks, my new to me 85' Evinrude 9.9HP has a little sticker next to the fuel intake line that says 100/1. Should I use that mixture or use the 50/1 I see everyone else talking about? I had read in this forum about that 100/1, then I see mine has it! Thanks in advance! Jack Hart Hickory, NC
