i recently bought a boat package that includes a 1988 mercury 25hp. i do have a shop manual ordered for it but i really want to change lower unit gear oil before next use. i just need to know what kind, weight, etc. <br /><br /> thanks j.g. :cool:
took boat fishing today. motor ran motor would only ran at 1/2 speed at first, then all of sudden it took off, ran good at high speed, but at low speed the rpm's would go up & down all by itself---help :confused:
i inherted this one from my uncle {died} used it <br />this weekend. ran fine until it started leaking<br />gear oil thru the prop. so i was wondering what the exact year was so i can order a seal & gasket kit for it model # 10rl76h :eek:
