I own a 2001 honda 8 hp 4-stroke ane when I am trolling along at low speed, motor shuts down. I tried turning up idle screw but maybe I have to go more with idle screw or is this normal for outboard?? Its only been used very few times!
I recently installed a new waterpump kit and started up motor yesterday and noticed no water coming from water hole exit? Where abouts is the water exit on the 63 motors? I also can not shut motor off only by slowing throttle down!:/
I own an evinrude 18 hp between yrs 57 and 73. My reverse seems to be gone on it. Is it my shear pin or linkage or what. Everytime I put it into reverse prop moves but will not go into revrse. Very frustrating. will not move bacwards. HELP :mad: :mad:
