Just bought this motor. It was painted and I can't find model number plate so I don't know the year. Possibly 1986-1989. No compression on #4 bottom left piston. 70psi on #3. 110 on both 1&2. Motor still cranked and started with compression issu, not to mention the cracked bottom carb bowl...
I was replacing my fuel lines and cleaning carburetor and forgot to take pics of where my fuel line ran and connected. Please send pics of fuel lines coming from pump, carburetor and primer solenoid.
I think I ran a mine from the big barb on the solenoid to the bottom barb on the carburetor.
I should have ran the fuel line coming off the fuel pump to the bottom of the carburetor. Correct me if I'm wrong please

The reason I started to work on the motor was bc when I took the boat out on the lake it would start and run fine. But when I turn it off I had to keep starting it bc it would die right away. But I could start it and hurry up and engage the throttle and it would take off and run like a champ...
I bought a primer solenoid kit and it still leaks. I also took the ring off my other boats primer solenoid and same thing. It leaks when button is pressed. I inspected for cracks and I don't see any.
