    Engine missing @ high RPM's

    Just had an OMC Cobra 2.3 Rebuilt. Boat has been sitting for a while and seems to be skipping/missing in the higher RPM range. Points ,plugs? What do ya'll think? Runs fine in lower RPM range.

    I know, if it's not broken, don't fix it BUT, I'm considering changing out my OMC 2.3 for a larger engine. What I want to know is, is my OMC Cobra outdrive compatible with a larger OMC engine?
