I am going to replace the lower unit oil in my 1988 150 hp Johnson V6. What type of oil should I use? Is all lower unit oils the same or is there a certain type I should get designed for my motor? I am very new here so i hope i am posting in the right forum.

Well after more messing with it last night it seems to start up cold great and run good until it warms up and then it shuts down. It is still pumping water sound i don't think it is over heating due to a bad water pump, but I just don't know what to look at next. Any help would be great. Thanks...

I have been have some fuel issues with my motor and I think it is the fuel pump. The only one I have found locally is $400. I think that is way too much.
Any suggestions on where I can find a fuel pump for a 1988 johnson 150 hp.
