I have a X125 sounder which has just decided not to turn, when I press the power button the backlight flashes for a second then the display remains blank/dead. I have tested the power leads- ok, tried doing a hard and soft reset - no good, any ideas or do I now have to read the signs and upgrade...

Just had some work done on my Suzuki DF 50, discovered that the bottom hose clamp on the main water hose is made of mild steel, it was pretty rusty after 220 hours, if you have one I suggest you replace it with a stainless steel clamp.
I accidentally got the leads on the battery the wrong way around while trying to jump start it, big spark at the battery terminal and now the motor is dead. How much damge could I have done or is there some fuse protection somewhere? DF 50 2005 model.
