It's a 120 johnson best I can tell it's the motor that came on the boat in 93. I've had it for 2 years and it was not do this last year. Compression checks out good. Once it finally planes out the boat runs great and idles fine sitting still
My javelin seems to be taking a lot long than it should to reach plane. From idle when I go full throttle the nose lifts up and the motor seems to Rev just fine but it's almost like the prop isn't engaging and it takes more than a few seconds to finally "catch" and climb on plane. Same result...
I recently got a 96 vip valiant with the 5.7 350 in it. I scoured the internet to find an owners manual only find out that's not really a thing for boats. My main goal was to find out the gas tank size on one of these boats. Any help is much appreciated.
