    I have a 1974 mercury 1150 I cant keep the motor running at low rpms it will run smooth at about 1300 rpms but if i go any lower it dies now ive read that 1 1/2 turns is a good base line but after I set carb number 1 do i start them all at 1 1/2 turns and if i do do I have to adjust carbs 1/8...

    i have a 76 thompson open bow boat and the boat turns very hard and stiff its the cable system down the left side so i put those tabs on the planing fins that is supposed to help turning but it doesnt what can i do can you lubricate that thing or what?

    i just purchased the boat and when you slam the throttle down it takes off for about 50 yards then starts gradually losing power only turning about 2000 rpms at full throttle i have put in new plugs and wires but still no power please help :confused:
