    My off button recently has been acting funny. It will not stop the motor at times, at other times it will only make it half way stop, and few times it will stop the motor as it should. What is the problem? It just started doing this last time I took the boat out.<br />Thanks!!!

    I have a 1973 9.8 hp merc 100 that has very little hours on it. I bought it about 3 weeks ago and ran it this weekend, it runs great.
