    Had coolant tank tested and is good, complete motor rebuilt with maybe 8 hours on it. Got some wiring issues, resistance wire is wrong wire, coil heating up.

    Wish, replaced everything. Down to wiring now that seems to be whats wrong. Boat is 30 years old garage kept but nobody wants to work on it.

    Motor rebuilt complete, 7-8 hours on it. Yes purple W/yellow stripe to coil and purple to coil W/spliced orange wire to coil and a green wire to coil and a red W/black from relay going to coil as well.

    Have worked on boat for 1 year, rebuilt motor, carb, new alternator, starter and distributor W/points. Cranks up and runs for about 15-20 min. Antifreeze coming out over flow at high rpms not at low rpms. Coil gets hot, replaced coil, wiring has been cut and connected but not sure if its right...

    3.7L running problems

    rebuilt motor, carb, impeller, bellows. Runs for about 20 min. Then shuts down. Not sure whats going on and need help
