    force 85hp reverse parts

    I need to buy same parts for my force 1985 85hp outboard. the linkage that holds the motor down when in reverse fell off the other day. Does anyone know where I could look at some microfish to get part #'s thanks.

    Does anyone know the part # for the over heat buzzer sensor on motor? Does the buzzer under dash go to a positive lead and the buzzer sensor complete the negative circuit?? Thanks <br />The wiring on my boat has been chopped on by someone!

    gas consumption ?

    I have a 1985 85hp Force, runs good but I used 12 gallons of fuel in 4.5 hours just off idle trolling for salmon, Is this normal for a 85hp? It does smoke at idle, but clears out at speed.. Thanks

    I have a 1985 force 85hp.when I pull back on lower unit like it would be in reverse, I look up under lower unit and see a rubber block that pulls away from metal.Is that just a rubber stop for forward thrust or is the rubber separated from mettal plate. I have a manual and cant find it...

    Throttle linkage 85hp Force

    When I try to start motor in neutral it wont let me give engine throttle for start. I looked at the linkage and the shifter lever bar keeps the throttle from moving. I understand why the arm stops the throttle until it is in gear, but don't understand how this is supposed to work when in neutral...

    I have an 85hp 1985 force, first time outboard owner... there are two rubber motor mounts next to power head and what looks like one up from prop. My ? is the lower rubber mount. if I pull back on the lower unit, looking up ,the rubber mount pulls away from metal plate. Is it just a rubber stop...
