    1988 force 85hp trigger

    Does anyone know how to test the trigger on this particular engine? My guess is to use a multimeter on ohms setting to test the resistance but i cannot find any info on which wires to test.

    Throttle control help

    Is there any possible way to reverse the direction this control moves my throttle cable? Like some sort of linkage i can mess with to make this push my throttle cable instead of pulling? I'm about to seriously give up on finding a used set of controls for this motor... (1988 force 85hp)

    1988 force 85hp coil pack

    I am having to replace a coil pack on my 1988 85hp force and the only one i could find online was blue In color. It says for 1989 models and up but it looks exactly the same as the one i am replacing (besides color of course). My question is, will this coil pack work on my motor????

    1989 Force outboard 85hp water circulation problems

    1989 force outboard 85 hp is peeing while at idle speeds, peeing while in neutral at higher rpm's, but NOT peeing when on a plane and just prior to getting up on a plane.... is this normal? Read something about a poppet valve but I don't think this motor has one. Any suggestions?
