    Thanks for the info. I was able to use snap ring pliers and pull out the little pin easily. After I clean the pieces up is there any specific grease or lube I should use?

    Do you know how I can get these apart? I'm looking to buy a manual. I can't seem to find anywhere on the net that shows how they come apart. Being plastic, I'm also trying not to break them too.

    With the vertical shaft removed, I believe it's just those two gears involved. Unless I'm mistaken, they should freely move back and forth. I have the throttle hand and shaft completely removed.

    I am new at working on these motors. This one, the throttle won't turn. In the pics below, I'm assuming both the vertical and inner gears should both rotate, but I'm not sure. it feels like if I put too much pressure on it, one if them will break.
