Hello my low speed knob is really hard to move am new too the outboard world and wanted to ask before I take carburetor off. The motor turn on on the first crank I used it at the river last week but was never able to planing out.
Well let me ask you this is it worth fixing this motor or just buy a newer used outboard since for one it’s hard to find parts and most of the mechanics in my area side they won’t touch a motor that old
It runs slow but I think it’s due to carburetor I just bought boat motor was in 2 peace’s she fires right up it was setting for 5 years but I can’t turn her off with a key switch
Hello am new to outboards I have a 1957 lark 35 hp I was wound wrong if someone can help me identify the part that is located in front of the fuel bowl it’s the black cone looking there is a wire coming of it and it’s cut
