I'm swapping my '88 4.3 OMC with a truck 4.3....on the truck motor, the oil pan has a windage tray....my current motor doesn't.....
Any differences in the oil pans on marine motors?
If the truck pan can be used, would it be beneficial to use it because of the windage tray?

Well, after all this time my damn motor started.....it ran pretty damn good except it's knocking.....guess the water did some real damage....was hoping it had a release with the gasket blown badly.....
