My starter and flywheel have to be replaced. I have already pulled the motor and am wondering since I have to pull the rubber coupling to replace the flywheel should I replace the rubber coupling with a new one?
Is the rubber coupling a high failure item or do they kind of last forever?
I believe I have internal damage to my VP 5.7L GXi 300 J! I was thinking about getting a long block and swap everything over from my current engine. Has anyone done this? Any advice? If I go to a higher HP motor can I still use everything else off the old motor?

Can someone tell me what this connector is for on my engine. Is it for the EVC instruments that Volvo offers or just a diagnostic port? I would like to change my instruments out that came with the boat (Faria) to the EVC gauges but I can't tell if I have a EVC engine, it is a 2010 5.7 Gi-300-J.
Hey guys I can only find an alignment tool for the SX Drive is it the same for a DPS? And, which service manual do I need to pull the engine from the boat?
I have a oil pan leak!
