    Hi, I just motor swapped my boat but the wiring to the ignition is too short. I have the old wires from a 90 Hp force but the new motor is a 90 Hp tower of power so the wires are all different colors.     I have a cmc tilt and trim that was missing the wiring harness so I bought a new one. There’s a black and a white one coming off the the actual tilt and trim and on the harness it has a green and a blue one that it would connect to. So my question is what color gos to what?

    Boat is always in forward gear

    When I start my 1982 mercury 85hp in neutral or what should be it’s In forward gear. When I try to put it in reverse it’s just speeds up and gos forward like it’s in forward gear. It gos forward when in forward gear. Would this be an issue with the lower unit or controls?

    I’m looking into changing the color of the bottom of my boat. I’m wondering how long will it last if I do? All the stuff I found online is if you leave it in the water year round. I don’t live on the water so it would be taken out after every use.
