I’m sorry I didn’t explain the question very well. I am struggling to understand why in the original repair manual it shows a clipper circuit ( or that’s what it is called in the manual) but I have a newer mechanics manual that shows the clipper circuit done away with. I have it wired without...
I would be interested in knowing if the original clipper circuit should be replaced or should I delete the old clipper circuit as the newer book shows? I would appreciate you’re knowledgeable input!
I would like to know if the clipper circuit should be bypassed or should be used on 1972 model 100293R evinrude? I have two repair manuals and one the newer manual shows it bypassed and the ariginal has it as connected. I am very confused.
I’m trying to get an old evinrude to run and I am not a mechanic. I have been working from parts diagrams and utube . I am wondering if I have to have the shift control system installed before I can start it or is there a short cut. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
