Hello.
I overtightened and stripped the dipstick hole for my 2000 sx-m.
If it helps, the dipstick is "oil indicator 3854847" and the bearing cover is 3854401.
As a new bearing cover is $401, I'd like to either;
1. Add a helicoil to the stripped hole
2. Re-tap the hole and just put an oil drain...
Is there a flush port that you connect a hose? (Might require a hose adapter).
If so, flush with stat removed, then try running.
Is it possible your water inlet screens are plugged? (On my nissan the inlets have screens)
Hello. I have been debugging a nissan nsf15 on a different thread, but had a new question.
I noticed in my (used) service manual that someone had hand written "5-7 ohms @20c" for the resistance of the abs.
I checked mine, it's 23.3 ohms.
Can anyone confirm the resistance of the abs coil?

I know I am really reaching on this one...Normally I'd also say that a 10F higher stat wont make a difference.
My theory is that maybe when the stat opens, the cold water is cooling the engine down enough that it needs more choke (but the choke is automatic, so its already fully open).

I was going to disassemble and dip the carb (again), but it's been soaked overnight and then sprayed out 3 times (chem-dip soak, then carb cleaner then airhose)
