I see in the TOP SECRET FILE a picture of the oil wick but I can't see how to install one. I've only worked on 3 motors but have never seen an oil wick on any of them. Is it something everyone doesn't replace or did I just miss seeing them on the motors I've worked on? THANKS for any help! JIM
I bought a carb kit (sierra 18-7043) and couldn't ue the new float pin. It was too long and would not fit. I used the old one. This was on a '57 5HP Brooklure (Gale 5D14) with F-N-R. Has anybody had this problem before with the Sierra kits? Thanks, just wondering for future reference.
I have a boat manufactured by GPI in Wisconsin. The tags are off and I don't know what the max. Hp. is. The boat is fiberglass and 15ft long. Does anyone have any info on this boat? It was manufactured in the mid to late 70's in Schofield WI. Thanks for any help!
