At WOT, it seems to be cutting in and out and not reaching full rpms. I don't have a tach so I don't know where it starts to cut in & out. If I back off on the throttle just a tad then its fine.

Been a while since I've last posted. Spring has finally sprung! And I'm getting the rig ready to finally get out on the water.
Anyways, I have an old '73 15ft. Larson open bow with a '76 E-Rude 85...runs good and is strong. I also have a transom mount electric trolling motor...
Finally located all the parts to do the install on my '76 E-Rude 85HP. I've located the water access protrusion on the top of the starboard cylinder bank, and have the necessary drill bit size and tap, but my question is....
Where do I place the tell tale exit nipple? Obviously somewhere in...

It came with the boat I obtained a few weeks back. Now the prop that's on it says 14x17. Does this sound right???
I tried using the prop finder thru iboats, and I get a range of sizes from 12 3/4" to 14".
The boat is a 1973 15'6" open...
Just wondering how hard it is to add a water pressure gauge as far as actual connections go?
Is the hookup connection...the water line itself? Obviously there's an electrical hookup if the gauge is backlit, but if it doesn't?

I see a little protursion on the top of the starboard side block. Is this the water access?
Any info on these two items? What are the pro's & cons of either? Why would you use one instead of the other? What dictates the use of one over the other?:confused: Thanks.
Oh, forgot to mention the use would be with an 15'6" open bow Larson Shark 1550 with an 85HP outboard.
Just took the boat out today on OUR maiden voyage. To make a long story short, the rack & pinion steering is backwards on this sucker.
How do I go about fixing this? Any help would be appreciated.

What type of anchor is best suited for a mucky, muddy bottomed lake? Tried using a FLUEK today, but the anchor wouldn't grab onto the mucky/muddy bottom.
