Just a quick update, I got the boat mostly gutted and was able to swap it to my old trailer so its off rollers and on to bunks. Still need to clean and check fir leaks then will tackle the transom.
I hear ya but it was just my son and I so didnt have the man power, the rear lift I used to get the 70hp off earlier so needed to lift the front to suspend it to switch the trailers. Thx

Work continues, last year I built an engine stand and a crain out of 2x4's and finally got the motor off today. The diy crain worked perfectly and me and my two sons got the Johnson 70 onto our motor stand without issue. Ended up taking out the front helm to get the steering cable off the motor...
