    1985 Evinrude 70 hp T&T replacement

Hi again, I just bought a used tilt and trim package that should be here in 2 days. I want to install it myself, but the manual I ordered won't be here until after the weekend. Can anyone give me a step by step idiots guide? Can this be done without taking the engine off of the boat? It looks...

Take a guess at what size prop I need....

Hi boaters, I have a 1961 14' Lonestar fiberglass boat. I just put a 1985 70 hp Evinrude on it. The motor has a 4 blade prop on it which is pretty beat up. Would anyone like to take a stab at what size prop might work best? My marina will let me try out some used ones he's got laying around...

    Bottom painting questions?

Hi Folks, I've been thinking about painting the bottom (fiberglass) of my 1961 Lonestar. '85 70 hp dying out???

Hi folks, I have a 1985 70 hp that I just bought. It starts and runs, revs up well in neutral. When i put it in gear it'll idle, but when I try to accelerate, it dies! It does this while in the water, but didn't do this while out of the water. Any ideas of what's wrong? Thanks, Jim

    Prop pitch ?

Ahoy There ! I have a '66 Evinrude sportfour 60hp on a 14' glass boat and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what pitch I should have on my prop? I don't know what the boat weighs, but it's probably pretty heavy. I'm told the older glass boats were a bit heavier (it's a 1961 Lonestar )...

    '66 Evinrude 60hp starting problems !?

Hi Folks, I just joined and hope you don't mind my picking your brains, hopefully I can return the favor one day. I recently bought a 1961 Lonestar with a 1966 60hp Sportfour Evinrude. I got the engine running fine, but had a little mishap and the junction box was submerged in salt water for...
