    Stern drive Question

    I have a 1988 mercruiser alpha one gen 1 stern drive for a 4.3l lx. I am able to get a 1991 alpha one gen 1 stern drive for a 3.7 l with a 100 hrs on it. same gear ratio so I am wondering if anyone knows it would work if i swaped the old one for a new one thanks

    Please help!! 4.3l lx mercruiser

    Someone please help me I am at a dead end. I have a 1988 mercruiser 4.3l lx. I am having trouble keeping the motor running.
