Well, as mentioed before Im bringing the boat out of hibernation from 2 yr sitting.. and did manage to get it to start. I find that a squirt in the carb throat then choke on makes her start quite nice... like 2-4 pulls. But anything I can do to eliminate the squirt of WD40 to use for priming...
Hello... Some old cars are worth putting big money into but im not familiar with boat engines.. is a 57 18hp evinrude motor worth spending the money to have the carb removed and cleaned... also of note the engine has two funny issues 1) after about 1/2mi of open crusing.. the motors looses rpms...
