    i have a merc 150hp with a 3blade aluminum prop 23p and found a good deal on a 4 blade ss 24 pitch prop my holeshot is perty good wwith the 23p prop would the 4 blade 24p be to much of a difference?

    two stroke oil mix

    i just replaced my inline115 with a 1984 merc 150hp and was wondering what would be the proper mixture of oil with 5galons of gas i have heard 40.1 and 50.1 i mixed it 50.1 and it seems to be fouling my plugs.i dont want togo to lean but but not too much oil niether.

    i have a 1973 evinrude 50hp i rebuilt the engine and had to remove the wire harness it has a long black maybe a resistor block with 6 places to put wires.does anyone know how the wires go from 1 to 6?

    no fuel on spark plugs

    i have a 1975 merc 115 and was wondering if you are supposed to have alittle fuel on the spark plugs when you turn the motor off and pull the plugs out mine are completly dry and i dont want to burn the motor up i just rebuilt it.it is also had to start the first time.

    i just rebuilt my 115 it is a 1975 model the problrm i am having is it isnt getting fuel to the spark plug.it has 130lbs of compression and the carbs are getting fuel i can hold my hand over the carbs and turn the motor over and remove my hand and alot of gas will come out the motor is trimmed...

    i had piston failure today so i took the engine apart it is a 1973 115hp inline 6.upon removale i noticed the crank was rusted on the bottom 3 cylinders could the bottom crank seal cause this i didnt find any cracks in the block if not what else could cause this
