    Change Impeller

    I'm going to try to change the impeller on my 1984 Merc 200, do I need to drain the gearcase oil before I drop the lower unit? Someone told me I need to do that first, but he has an Evinrude so I'm not sure if that applies with my Merc.

    Throttle adjustment

    Anyone know how to tighten up an 20 year old throttle? It will not stay in place, so it is kind of a pain to hold it for a 30 minute boat ride in chop.
