    Engine Won't Die When Key is Turned Off and Battery is Disconnected.

    I have a 1969 Sears boat with a 1978 MERC 80hp. I think it is a gound issue, but where do I look for it. Motor runs great and does not idle high. I just can't shut it off unless I run it out of gas. Starts right up with no issues. I am just clueless and trying to learn about boats. Any...
