    Changing Gear Lube

    I just bought a 1968 9.5hp Johnson and I want to change the gear lube. I don't have the owners manual yet. There's the drain screw at the bottom of the lower unit and than there's the one above it. When the lube comes up to the upper screw does that mean it's full? Thanks for your help.
