    main drive gear

    i have a chrysler 55hp that has been completely rebuilt except for the main drive gear ( believe it is called the pinion gear?) model #559ha serial #4140. i was told that the only way i could get that gear was to buy a new lower half. does anybody know if that is true. Also trying to find out...

    Help!!!!

    We have acquired our first boat from my in laws...nice boat they have used it up until this season. I spent a day or so getting it ready for easter fishing, it got all tuned up and started just fine in the water barrel. Well we get to the boat ramp get the trailer in the water drop the motor...
