    I have a 1977 85hp johnson. I want to upgrade the controls, so I will have a kill switch. What year should I look for?

    Buzzer going off

    I have a 1977 85hp Johnson. A buzzer has started going off, only when it is idling. It will go off. This motor does not have a tell/tell hose to if water is circulating. Any help would be appreciated. Water pump and thermostat have been replaced.

    50 hp johnson

    have a 50hp johnson, does fine until planes out then it starts surging. have had carbs rebuilt, new fuel filter, stator, gasline and tank.<br />any suggestions would be helpful.
