My 2000 Mercury 90 Hp 4 stroke shifts very hard into F and R. I just purchased this motor and was told by the original owner it has always done this. Any info????
I want to replace my two portable fuel tanks with one large tank on my 2000 Boston Whaler Montauk 17'. I want to mount it in the same location under the seat and would like to have the largest size that will fit. If anyone has any info on a good tank please let me know.

My 90 Hp 4 Stroke Mercury (2000) runs great at slow RPMs. When I accelerate to wide open throttle it runs great for about 30-45 seconds then begins to cut out. When I pump the bulb the motor catches up and runs great for another 30 -35 seconds. Then the same thing. At lower RPMs (3500)...
