    1956 Johnson Lower Unit Seal(s)

    I am looking for some help replacing the prop shaft seal, the drive shaft seal and "Spaghetti" seal on my 1956 Johnson 30hp. Can this be done by just removing the lower section or does the whole lower unit have to come off? Any and all tips would be much appreciated. Joe

    Fish finder transducer

    A friend gave me a Pinpoint 7820 sonar unit (minus the transducer). My boat has a 200 khz transducer mounted on it from the previous Apelco unit that went bad.     Trim limit & indicator wires.

    I began the process of disconnecting everything for a coupler replacement yesterday and discovered that the trim wires were a bit frayed, so they will be replaced. They look to be 14 ga. stranded wire. Is there a premade harness replacement or can I made a set from wire purchased locally? Thanks
