I went out to my boat today and pressed the trim up button on accelerator Handle to lift it off the motor supports.
When I pressed the down button it got stuck and I couldn't get it to stop running. Had to remove cowling and disconnect wires to solenoid box. Could be a solenoid that got stuck or...
I have a 1991 120 hp Johnson. The trim and tilt doesn't work. I need to lift the motor to try and fix it. I backed off the manual relief valve but I cannot
lift or drop the motor any more than it is, (about 90 % down but not touching the trim shafts) Does anyone have any suggestions?
