My dealer just installed a tachometer for my Honda BF-50 50hp 4 stroke carborated. Motor is on a 16' Carolina Skiff. At full throttle, the RPM's are 6200. Is this too much? I thought outboards max RPM should not exceed 5500. Honda only offers one prop for this motor.
