    On the fuel tank is a vent cap. Do I leave it open or closed ???? It is hooked up to a 1973 50hp evinrude.....

    I have a 1973 50 hp eninrude. It idles fine but when I put it into drive or reverse it wants to bog out and die.

    My motor will run when tilted up but when its in the down position it will bog out and die...Took carbs off expecting gunk inside but very clean...Running at 50:1 with no ethanol gas...

    Can you put a regular CB radio in your boat or does a marine radio work on a different frequency???

    50 hp eninrude fuel pump

    I took my fuel pump apart and looks like a piece that the needle valve sits in is broken... the gaskets are good....so anyone know where i can just get the plastic middle piece and not the whole pump???

    I just got a boat with a evinrude 50 horse motor...Its a 71' i think..but the person who i got it from said the fuel pump is sucking air...he said a piece inside broke that is making it suck air,,,What part could of broke inside to do this....Please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
