    Carb adjusting tools?

    I was wondering how to go about checking the balance on my carbs for my 87' Suzuki DT115. There are no vaacum ports so thats out of the question. I once tried a VW carb balancing tool but I couldn't get it to seat correctly. Can anyone get me going in the right direction? Thanks.

    Suzuki DT115 surging...

    I have an 87' DT 115 that has a couple of issues. A few seconds after accelerating to part throttle the engine will start to speed up.     Pitot tube or Paddle wheel speedo pickup?

    I'm concidering upgrading gauges and would like to hear what are some of the pros and cons of a paddle wheel vs a pitot tube. The gauges I am looking at are the Beede 2000 series which use a paddle wheel transducer for the speedo. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    SS prop for sale

    I have always wondered if there is a difference in performance between, lets say, an OMC 115 vs Yamaha 115, or Suzuki, Mercury, exc. I figure none of them make exactly 115 hp. Some have to make more and some less. What manufacturer puts the most "bang" in their outboards?

    Prop vents: To plug or not to plug?

    I have a 16ft deep V runnabout with a 115 Suzuki on the back. I recently purchanced a Michigan Rapture SS (19 pitch) prop thats vented. My problem is that my top end decreased 2mph from my (19 pitch) aluminum prop. Would plugging the vents help performance at all? Anyone had any experience...
