I have a 1975 ted williams 7.5 motor. I have to remove the lower unit , I removed the lower bolts, the shaft slid down only so far. On other motors ive worked on, the shifter adj muast be removed to get the lower end off. On this motor the shifter is a thumb lever, Does this have to be removed...
