    Motor was working great 1 minute, next minute wouldn't start. Turns over strong, but zero spark.

    2008 115 hp mercury 4 stroke EFI bogging.

    make sure you have good spark on all spark plugs. if not, coils, powerpack, etc might need. A bad coil and bad power pack and me and othe techs try all kinds of fuel and carb diags with no fix. Always check spark in issues with bogging, rough running, etc.

    I don't think they did. They focused on carb/plugs/coils/plug wires.

    Are you saying this is normal for the engine and I just need to maybe adapt to it? Would your suggestion be to always run the engine on high rpm before exiting the lake?
