I recently bought a 1979 glasstron with a 1977 mercury 1150 outboard. The trim motor would run but nothing would happen. Come to find out there is a manual lock. After trying to move it up and down with the lock on it now just clicks, but only when moving the switch up. When switching down...
I recently bought a 1977 Mercury 1150, ran some tests to find that the distributor is bad (well...the trigger). I’ve been looking for a distributor with no luck. My question is does anybody know where to find used parts for these things?
