My straight inboard is still hauled out waiting for me to find the time to paint the bottom. The prop and shaft look fine & I was having no issues like vibration etc. at haulout last January. Do I need to pull the prop and clean/grease the shaft & replace the cotter pin, or leave well enough...
Just bought a '94 Jeep Cherokee for my kid that needs a front bumper cover. Any idea on what has to be done to replace this thing? I have the plastic cover but have not had the time to really look things over and see what needs to come apart to get the new one on. Does the grill have to come...
Sir,

Shoot me an email if you would. You have something I would be interested in buying if it is still available.

Thanks........John Carpenter
ukrocks@comcast.net
Getting ready to add some memory to my desktop. What is in the machine now is PC2100. I am told that PC2700 is "backwards compatible" with the PC2100 and will work on my machine. Does anyone know if this is true? I can buy the PC2700 cheaper so will use it if I can. Thanks in advance.
A friend is looking at an '88 Renken...pics look good and the price is right, however neither of us knows anything about the brand and it's reputation. If anyone here has owned one or is familiar with them I would appreciate your comments. Thanks in advance.
A friend is looking at an '89 model 28' Mach 1...The boat has a 454 with Bravo I/O and has been sitting for some time on a dealers lot as a consignment boat. Asking price is $12,995...neither of us knows anything about the builder. Any info appreciated. Also, is this year (89)during the time...
My son had this e-mailed to him this morning and I thought it was pretty funny...as well as true. The comments contained in it will probably be borne out by the progress of this thread:-)

How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb?

1 to change the...
Would have posted to the thread but it was locked. The same exact post was on another board a few days ago along with replies from the same IP address. He was called out by someone who noticed the posts were by the same guy under different names & he never responded. Just another fool looking to...
Last week I replaced the original Mallory dual point ignition in my '78 Chris Craft...Chevy 305 engine...with a GM HEI system made by Accel. The difference in the way the boat runs is just amazing. The only problem is that my tach no longer works. I know for sure that I have more power and rpms...
My owners manual for the Paragon tranny calls for Type A transmission fluid which I can't find at the local auto parts stores. Has this type disappeared from the market? If so, what should I use as a replacement? The fluid that is in the tranny is red, which I think is Type F...but I have no...
If you don't know what game then there is just no hope for you ;) UK Wildcat's lit up the Dean Dome today. It don't get much better than that...won't say the D word. Only bad thing about the game was having to listen to that asinine Vitale.
Not sure I understand this problem/condition...at least as it relates to the set-up I have in an older Chris Craft. This boat has the cast iron water mufflers which have a built in trap that..I think...prevents water from flowing towards the engine. Is this correct? Is it possible for water to...
Long story short...engine is a 305 Chevy straight inboard with the Mallory dual point ignition. I looked on-line and found the Pertronix Ingitor II for about $100. A friend who builds race car engines picked up a OEM GM unit for about the same money...according to him it is a better unit.<br...
I am in the process of updating the interior on a '28 Chris Craft. There are nine cushions total that will require about 20 yds. of fabric to re-cover. I have been quoted a price range of between $700 & $900 dollars, labor and materials...depending on fabric chosen. All cushions have plywood...
