    88' Evinrude 225hp lower unit oil leak....

    88' 225 EVINRUDE VRO.......tach?

    Hello...,I'm wanting to "hook" a tach. onto my motor, I do have a OMC control....on the bottom of the control there is a 3 prong plug (female).<br />Is this the "spot" for the tach?<br />Thanks guys.....John.

    I will be taking off the VRO on my 88' 225 Evinrude. I phoned 3 Marine service shops,one says I need to change fuel pump, one say I dont need to change pump? The last one says it will be an easy swap? Is this true? He says all he'll do is pull off the oil line from the oil tank,plug it, disable...
