I have a 16ft fiberglass bass boat and it has some scratches on the botom.It has a metal flake/gellcoat type finish.What is the best way to fix it without doing the whole boat.
I am trying to get a tachometer for my 1977 evenrude 70 hp. I found a teleflex 0-7 k , for outboard and 4 stroke but not for force eng. the question is, is a force engine a type or a brand. I never heard of it.
I have an 85hp 1977 evinrude. i set the idle rpm's at 900-1000 and the engine idles ok but when i shift into geer it drops down and quits. I set it at about 1500-1800 and when I shift into gear it drops to 900-1000 and runs fine. Do I have a problem and what is it.
I am rebuilding a 67 60hp evinrude 60753 type II ignition distrbutor battery. The wiring harness was all melted when I got it so I had to make a new one. No problem except the one wire that goes from the coil to the key switch needs to be a resistor wire which I am having a hard time finding...
if the rectifier is bad will everthing work but the tack, I never could figure out what it did. I have two motors and the tack test different,so I think one of them is bad but both engines run fine except the tack don't work on one.1977 evinrudes 70 85
