I have a stringer 800 mechanical shift sterndrive that was rebuilt three years ago.One day the sterndrive quit pumping water.I replaced the impellor and housing, reinstalled the drive and it still doesn't pump water.Does anyone have any suggestions for me?Any ideas would be appreciated...
I just bought a boat with a OMC Stringer 800 stern drive.I heard it's possible to replace the water pump without removing the stern drive from the boat.Can anyone tell me if that's true?Thanks for your help.
